Lymphatic System

Roles: Part of the immune system. Controls disease in the body. Collect excess fluid (lymph) from body tissue for elimination. Removes pathogens and cellular debris from the lymph and/or blood. Produces white blood cell (lymphocytes) that fight infection in the body. 


Body Parts: Tonsils, Lymph Nodes, Thymus Gland, Spleen, Appendix, Lymph Vessels. 


Fruits - Apples, avocado, apricots, berries, blueberries, cantaloupe, cherries, cucumber, grapes, honey dew, peaches, pears, pineapple, mango, melons, strawberries, watermelon. 


Vegetables - Alfalfa sprouts, beets, leafy green vegetables, okra, sweet potato. 


Nuts & Seeds - Almonds, Sunflower seeds. 


Grass - Wheat grass, barley grass. 


Herbs: Black Walnut, Brigham Tea, Burdock, Cayenne, Cedar, Chaparral, Echinacea, Elder, Garlic, Ginger Root, Ginseng, Goldenseal, Horehound, Kelp, Lemongrass, Nettle, Red Clover, Rose Hip, Sage, Suma.
